Mac & Toz

If you are ever in Pittsburgh you MUST stop by Mac and Toz. I am obsessed with mac and cheese and this place made all my dreams come true. I went with my two girlfriends last Friday and we had such a great time and the food was just a plus! It wasn’t too pricey but is definitely more on the higher side compared to other places around but you get what you pay for. I also had a glass of their sparking rose which was originally $9 but being there for happy hour made it only $5! Yay! I can’t wait to go back and try their lobster mac!

My Tanning Routine

I get a lot of questions regarding my self tan routine so I figured I would make a quick blog post about it. I have tried so many lotions and either became blotchy, orange, or stayed the same color. I came across St. Tropez last year and have loved it ever since! It leaves no streaks and does not ever make me look orange! It is a little pricey but it lasts months and is so worth every penny!

Mushroom Asparagus Pasta

After getting off work the last thing I want to do is make a big dinner. With working full time as well as going to college my weeks are usually super busy. That being said, I found this recipe that only took a half hour to make and I love mushrooms + asparagus so it was amazing!! Not to mention it was a big enough portion to have for lunch the following day. I linked the recipe below so yall definitely have to try it out!

Pittsburgh + Downtown

This past Sunday I went downtown in Pittsburgh with one of my good friends. I had to go to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History for one of my labs in school so we made a day out of it. After sitting in traffic for an hour we had lunch at The Porch in Schenley Park. It ended up being a beautiful day out and the food was amazing! It was my first time going to the museum so I actually didn’t mind going. Considering I still had a paper to write we only stayed for a half hour but it was actually pretty interesting. All in all it was definitely a Sunday Funday. Happy Monday!

Sweet Potato Fries

Ever since I went to BRGR I have been craving their sweet potato fries! I am trying to eat a little healthier so I was excited to try and make these! They turned out better than I would have ever imagined and they were super easy to make!

1. Cut up three potatoes and slice them into small sections

2. Mix some vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and paprika into a bowl

3. Throw in all the fries and mix around with your hands and or a utensil

4. Lay out the fries in a conventional oven and bake for 25 minutes

5. Sprinkle with some salt

Feeling Twenty Three

For my birthday this year I kind of just relaxed. After turning 21, everything goes downhill lol! My birthday fell on a Friday this year as well as my cousins Senior Rec for Volleyball so that is where I spent my night. On Saturday I had a group of friends over for the Hockey Game, in which we lost. (Thanks boys) But it was nice to have a low key birthday because it was definitely needed! Outfit deets–> jacket is from Forever 21, sweater and leggings are from Victoria’s Secret and my boots are from Nordstrom.

Brunch at First Watch

If you live in Pittsburgh or are visiting you must swing by First Watch in Bridgeville. I recently went out to lunch there and had some of the best food ever! I ordered a Belgium waffle with berries and avocado toast with two dippy eggs. I decided to be bold and order some things I usually do not eat out and am so glad I did because both plates were amazing!! In all honesty I wanted everything on the menu so I cannot wait to go back!
