Chanel + Fenty Reviews

If you are obsessed with makeup like I am… I am sure you have heard of Rhianna’s new makeup line with Fenty. When I first heard about it, I wasn’t really interested but after testing out the highlighter I knew I needed it. Not only is the pigment good but the packaging is so cute. That was just the cherry on top! Not to mention you get two highlighters in one for only $34!

Chanel, Chanel, Chanel. I decided to invest in some high end nail polish for no reason what so ever other than to try something new. I have been getting acrylics for so long that I was beyond ready to start saving money and to just let my natural nails grow. I am obsessed with the polish and it truly does look like a gel-mani. It last for over a week without chipping so it definitely is a must have for fall!

Linen Closet Organization

I recently have been redoing my  bathroom because I felt like the whole beach theme had to go. I have been really liking the “Farmhouse” look so that is the theme I went with . The first thing I wanted to do was organize my linen closet because it needed a major makeover. That being said I went with gray and brown as my main focus. I mostly picked up everything at TJ Maxx/Homegoods which was probably the best place to get my money’s worth. I can’t wait to show yall my new bathroom design! Stay tuned! xx

Skincare Routine

So I get a lot of questions about my skincare routine and what products I use. I have always struggled with acne so when I finally was able to find products that worked for me I was ecstatic. Not only because my face cleared up but also because I no longer have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on derm appointments and meds. The first thing I do is take off all of my makeup using the Clinique Take the Day Off Micellar Cleansing Towelettes. ($14 from Ulta) The second thing I do is take off my eye makeup using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water All-in-1 Cleanser & Waterproof Makeup Remover. ($8.99 from Ulta) After removing all of my makeup I wash my face with warm water using the Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Control 3 In 1 Foaming Wash. This face wash is my absolute favorite!! ($6.29 from Target) After washing my face I use the Pixi Skintreats Glow Tonic. I just recently discovered this and have been loving it because my face feels so refreshed after using it. Toners are good because they get all of the makeup off that you may have missed. ($15 from Target) Lastly, I always use a moisturizer at night. The one I recently have been using is the Burt’s Bees Sensitive Night Cream. Not sure if I am obsessed with it yet but so far so good. I love my routine because I don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars on products that barely work. Comment below what some of your favorite skincare products are!

Mac & Toz

If you are ever in Pittsburgh you MUST stop by Mac and Toz. I am obsessed with mac and cheese and this place made all my dreams come true. I went with my two girlfriends last Friday and we had such a great time and the food was just a plus! It wasn’t too pricey but is definitely more on the higher side compared to other places around but you get what you pay for. I also had a glass of their sparking rose which was originally $9 but being there for happy hour made it only $5! Yay! I can’t wait to go back and try their lobster mac!

My Tanning Routine

I get a lot of questions regarding my self tan routine so I figured I would make a quick blog post about it. I have tried so many lotions and either became blotchy, orange, or stayed the same color. I came across St. Tropez last year and have loved it ever since! It leaves no streaks and does not ever make me look orange! It is a little pricey but it lasts months and is so worth every penny!

Mushroom Asparagus Pasta

After getting off work the last thing I want to do is make a big dinner. With working full time as well as going to college my weeks are usually super busy. That being said, I found this recipe that only took a half hour to make and I love mushrooms + asparagus so it was amazing!! Not to mention it was a big enough portion to have for lunch the following day. I linked the recipe below so yall definitely have to try it out!
